STREETLIGHT SWITCH-WIRE REMOVAL

Utility Asset Management engaged SCE to help in the process of removing all the overhead streetlight switch-wire on the Western Power network.

SCE crews completed the following work:

​

• Safely removing streetlight switch-wire one bay at a time

• Disconnecting streetlights from switch-wire

• Re-wiring streetlights to the overhead mains

• Replacing luminaires that were not compatibly energised via the overhead mains

• Upgrading all fuse holders and fuses to suit
