LED RETROFITTING

Ventia engaged SCE to undertake the removal of 23 outdated mercury vapour luminaires to LED luminaires on Colin and Outram Streets in West Perth on the Western Power network. These were the first LED trials on the network.

SCE crews completed the following work:

​

  • Decommissioning mercury vapour luminaires

  • Installing LED luminaires

  • Upgrading wiring and fuse holders at both the pole and electrical pillar
