METAL POLE REINFORCEMENT

Utility Asset Management engaged SCE to undertake the reinforcement of metal streetlight poles on the Western Power network.

SCE crews completed the following work:

​

• Disconnecting streetlights, wire brush and rust proof approximately 300mm below ground

• Installation of two steel reinforcement nails and riveting to the pole

• Testing to ensure the pole is safe to touch for public safety
